TestimonialsIn 2005, I was remodeling my house on a limited budget. I could not afford new cabinets, so I decided to refinish the ones I had. As I went through the process of interviewing contractors, I was amazed at the astronomical price some of them wanted to refinish, so I almost made the decision to paint them myself, but I had one more contractor to meet with. When Hollywood Refinishing came in, they did not have the arrogance that some of the others had, and when I told them that I was considering painting, they explained that the cabinets I had were made of furniture quality Satin Birch. Nobody had told me how high quality the wood I had was, although you could see that the grain was very unique. We came to a price that I was comfortable with, and they started right away. I was a little worried (their quote was significantly less than most of the other re-finishers) that the job would be compromised or that they would take a long time and my house would be a mess. The first day they started, the entire kitchen was tented off, and none of the mess or dust affected the rest of the house. They were clean and fast and I was shocked to see how beautiful my "new" cabinets were. It was exactly what I asked for. Five years later, I was in a new home and we were doing a total kitchen remodel. I wanted to bring on Hollywood Refinishing to stain my brand new custom maple cabinets, but I was assured by the General contractor that his sub-contractor was amazing. When the cabinets were finished, all I did was cry. This stainer had ruined my beautiful new custom cabinets. They were several shades darker than the sample we had approved and had uneven staining all throughout the kitchen. We called Hollywood to come take a look to see if they could help. Mr. Bearany has many years experience in working to realize the vision of the best architects, using the highest quality workmanship and materials. I acquired nine pieces of valuable antique furniture, including leather upholstered chairs, a banquet table, a desk and a credenza. Each was intricately crafted and made of beautiful wood but each was also badly damaged by age, wear and abuse.
